About Kevin
NOT BRRR BUT BARR
Kevin Barr appreciates the Florida weather more than most. Kevin is from the Midwest, Wisconsin specifically. Go Packers! And it was cold there. He studied Geography in college. “I loved geography and even thought about studying meteorology. I love that the Florida climate allows me to enjoy spending quality time in nature thanks to the warm, fresh air.” Kevin lives in Wellington with his wife and children, and coaches his son’s baseball team in his spare time. He also hits the gym at 5am everyday Monday-Friday. This discipline sets him up for a productive day, and keeps him grounded. “I find that my activities are nothing without the basic foundations of form. This translates to sales because you need the activity, but you also need to master the basic steps of the activity to be successful.”
BRINKS, MEDICAL SALES, AND REAL ESTATE
Kevin has been a professional salesperson his entire life. His love of people, his analytical strategic skills and communication gifts made him perfect for Real Estate. Kevin worked for several years within a script-driven sales role with Brinks Home Security, working his way up to National Sales Trainer. Kevin understands the importance of listening and follow up. That combined with his sense of urgency of leaving no stone unturned has helped him become an excellent real estate agent with top of the industry negotiating skills. His background experience in medical marketing allowed him to take this experience and expand it into a longer sales process. “Getting from the front desk gatekeeper to the decision-making doctor, wasn’t always a quick process. I never give up until I get my client what they desire."
A FAMILY HOME
Kevin’s parents didn’t own a home until he was out of college, and as a family they had moved house 15 times before Kevin finished 5th grade. As a child he had to make friends quickly and was introduced to the importance of home ownership at an early age. He is absolutely committed to the process and understands the impact that buying or selling a property can have on a family. His parents have inspired him, and he credits them with showing him how to be a husband and a father. “I am the husband and dad I am today because of my Dad. I kept his work ethic, but I focus on quality time with my family when I’m not working. This has produced a well-grounded marriage rooted in love, and amazing kids who are excelling in almost everything they touch.”

From wanting to be everything from a weatherman and policeman as a child, to a professional career in sales, Kevin’s love of helping people combined with his talents in sales and marketing make him a natural fit for Real Estate. His quick rapport, tenacity, and experience in finding unique ideas and solutions combine perfectly with his drive and determination to ensure that he is able to create a successful and stress-free process for all his clients. “I’ve learned to take any stress on myself rather than give it to my clients.
