Jamie was born in Charleston, West Virginia and raised both there and in Orlando, Florida. After graduating from High School, he was awarded a Football scholarship to attend West Virginia State University. He was a four- year letterman and earned his bachelor’s degree in business management, A.S degree in Banking and finance, with a minor in economics. After graduating from college, he was hired by AT&T and was quickly accepted into their Horizon’s program to work at their headquarters in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Jamie has spent the past 30 years as a residential real estate investor while working in the Telecommunication industry. “I held various leadership positions working for AT&T, Verizon and Frontier communications and was recognized with numerous awards for being a top performing leader in the country.”

He has found that the best way to develop/master solid sales skills is to follow-up. “I’ve been challenged with every position I’ve held, and I’ve always turned the corner after a learning curve and have been successful with every position held.” Jamie was fortunate to retire early and took the real estate exam with his wife Lisa. “We completed the course and passed the exam in 4 weeks, going on to sell 38 homes in just 1.5 years. We then did the same to pass the Florida Law portion to obtain a license in 2 weeks.” Based upon Jamie’s business acumen, experience, and past track record you can bet his real estate success will translate easily to the Florida market.

FAMILY, COMMUNITY, AND SPORTS
Jamie has had numerous mentors over the years and at this point in my life, my biggest inspiration is my wife and children. My wife has battled through and beat a serious cancer illness and she keeps me balanced with life’s outlook. I’m getting great inspiration and affirmation after watching both children graduate from college, getting into their professional careers and becoming parents of their own. Jamie has always been active in the community serving on numerous boards, the chamber of commerce as an ambassador, and was also a youth football, basketball, and little league coach in the area for many years! He loves sports and is a big college football and college basketball fan. His love of sports has influenced him throughout his life and taught him the importance of hard work, teamwork, and individual responsibility. “I’m team oriented by nature – I’m very competitive and I like my team to win!” Jamie has experience working in teams of up to 300 people which has helped him to develop excellent people, negotiation, sales, and customer service skills.
