Echo Fine PropertiesIn high school Chris began his true photographic journey, spending ample amount of time in the dark room honing his craft. In junior year of high school Chris won a Scholastic art and writing national gold award for “Yale Drive”, an eight foot long 360 degree view that was hand assembled out of 16 vertical 8x10 inch prints of North Yale Drive that Chris grew up on in Hollywood Florida. Later that year The City of Hollywood’s City Council named June 17, 1998 “Chris Cutro day” in honor of the achievement of his national award.
In college Chris joined the Beacon Florida International University’s student newspaper, and became lead photographer and photo editor. While still in college Chris joined the Miami Herald as a freelance photographer. He also began taking freelance work in 2000 and started Keen Eye Photography. Chris graduated from FIU in 2007 with a BFA in photography.
