About Andrew
COLLEGE BOY OF HARD KNOCKS
Andrew Silver is a graduate of FSU University, but he also went to the College of hard knocks. That is because Andrew majored in Entrepreneurship. “I studied Entrepreneurship which offered classes such as negotiations, marketing, accounting, and scaling growth. All of these subjects tie directly into different aspects of Real Estate.” Andrew worked his way through college as the lead leasing agent of Asset Leasing, in charge of all aspects of leasing marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations, selling over 300 leases in 4 weeks. If that wasn’t all, for his major, Andrew launched College Boy Carwash doing everything from daily operating, bookkeeping, dispatching, customer service and developing marketing strategy.
COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE
Andrew is a natural for commercial Real Estate. He is a high-level thinker. Analyzing a deal and helping figure out if it will be profitable in the long term is something that he naturally loves. Puzzles and problem solving are in his DNA, and he has excellent math skills. “I’m quick to pick up on patterns and trends. Math is something that has lots of patterns, trends, and formulas; just like in Real Estate.” Being able to apply numbers to real-life situations allows Andrew’s clients peace of mind, knowing that their decisions can be backed by hard evidence.
SILVER LINING
Even if you are having a bad day, the Silver lining to working with Andrew Silver is his energy. He makes friends easily, talks to anyone, and has a natural skill in relating to others and allowing people to open up. This helps in really getting to know his clients’ needs and wants, in gathering information, and gives him a serious leg-up in negotiations.
MIRROR
Andrew’s work ethic was instilled by his parents who encouraged him to start work at 14 years old as a bag boy at Publix. “My father is a self-made, immigrant entrepreneur from Canada who always pushed me to do more than the average kid. That started with working at Publix from a young age, really teaching me the value of a dollar and instilled a hustle like work ethic. Other than my father, my biggest inspiration is myself. When I look in the mirror, I want to be proud of what I see. This constantly inspires me because I can’t look at myself in the mirror if I fail, but what’s comforting is knowing that If you hustle, you can’t fail.” And if nothing else, when you work with Andrew and jump into the car, it will be spotless!
