Port St. Lucie is a city located on the Atlantic coast in St. Lucie County, Florida between Vero Beach and Palm Beach Gardens. This sporting city is home to the New York Mets spring training, and the St. Lucie Mets Florida State League team. There is a wonderful array of things to do in the city, including nature hikes through environmental preserves, and kayaking down the beautiful river. Savannas Preserve state Park is a 10-mile coastal park where you can enjoy fishing, hiking, and canoeing. Port St. Lucie has 30 public access beaches nearby where you can experience snorkeling, surfing, horseback riding, or just enjoy some well-deserved relaxing!
The I-95 runs through the city and makes for easy travel throughout the area. You can reach West Palm Beach in under an hour, and Miami in just over 2.
